How Do You FINISH Your Workout?

by admin on December 14, 2011

If you’re anything like me you look forward to the weight training aspect of your workout. Typically this portion of the workout takes less than an hour. Once you’re done though you still need to hop on the treadmill or elliptical machine for another 30-45 minutes in order to burn some fat and work those lungs right?

Not so fast!

Have you heard of “Workout Finishers“?  Here’s how they work.

Finishers are 5-10 minute resistance cardio workouts that you can add to the very end of your weight training session to replace steady state cardio.  The simple movements will keep your heart rate pumping like crazy without burning any of the muscle you’ve worked so hard for.

These quick and intense finisher workouts will increase your:

  • Muscular Density
  • Muscular Definition
  • Strength & Power Endurance
  • And Your Resting Metabolic Rate Allowing You To Burn More Fat

Give this TIME-SAVING full body finisher below a try and let me know how it goes in the comments section.

I’m fairly new too weight lifting, I’m currently trying to drop bodyfat… I noticed that you said “resistance cardio workouts that you can add to the very end of your weight training session to replace steady state cardio. The simple movements will keep your heart rate pumping like crazy without burning any of the muscle you’ve worked so hard for.” I was just wondering why that is, since so many people say that cardio like HIT is bad because it burns muscle, and if you wanna lose just Bodyfat you have to do low-moderate intensity cardio like walking.

Well you’re only doing the HIT cardio for 5-10 minutes which won’t burn muscle.
